STAMPIN' PRETTY TIPS:
The card base is 4 x 4"
I disassembled a 4" square envelope and used it as a template for the matching designer paper envelope.
The bird wings are scored so that they pop out in flight! The Birds & Blooms Sizzlits Die Set comes with four dies, all exclusive to Stampin' Up!.

If you haven't already, meet the Joy-Fold card. It's essentially a large and small card intersecting with each other. They are fun, unique and seriously quick to make. These two cards (a holiday version is below) are my first attempts (hence, the "triumphant" in the title) but I can see myself making many more.
My first card shares Sneak Peeks from the Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini Catalog. This includes Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper (12 x 12 jumbo pad with 48 double sided sheets), the Small Heart Punch, I {Heart} Hearts and Well-Scripted Clear Mount Stamp sets. These sneak peek items will be available when the customer sales period for the Occasions Mini begins Jan. 5.
STAMPIN' PRETTY TIPS:

For large (A2) card, cut card stock to 4 1/4 x 8 1/2. Score at 5 1/2".
Cut and adhere 4 x 5 1/4" Designer Series Paper to the interior and 4 x 2 3/4" for the outside (left) panel.
For small card, cut card stock to 3 x 8 (I whittled this down slightly for the first card--you can play with the size). Score at 4".
Add 2 3/4" x 3 3/4" Designer Paper to the outside of the small card (or adjust 1/4" smaller than the size of the folded card if you play with the size).
Slide and adhere the small card underneath the "friend" heart (first card) or Ornament Punch (second card--lots of alternate options here for creating a "latch"). I anchored each with Stampin' Dimensionals under the left side, propping it up and keeping the right side open to close.
The "friend" stamp was cropped with the Full Heart Punch (I looooove coordinating punches) and the small Old Olive Heart (top right of the small card) was cropped with the new Small Heart Punch (Occasions Mini). Click here for details on the new Stampin' Up! Punch Design.

STAMPIN' PRETTY TIPS:
Having lots of Whisper White exposed allows me to go a little wild with my color combinations.
I "threaded" the button with a skinny strip of Only Orange card stock.
The Modern Label Punch is my "go to" for sentiments. It transforms this Chocolate Chip Chit Chat Rub-on into a cool new shape--especially when propped up on Stampin' Dimensionals.

A touch of ribbon and paper piercing add the right touch of jazz. Of course, a touch of metal with the Jumbo Silver Brad fits in, too.
This stripe from Stampin' Up!'s Nouveau Chic Designer Paper is the perfect amount of pattern. Think "neck tie" when looking for an appropriate design.

Hot off the press is today's Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge (MOJO117) plus a couple sneak peeks from the Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini and Sale-A-Bration Catalogs (available Jan. 5). As my focal point, I used a splashy stencil from Vintage Ornaments II, found in the Definitively Decorative Catalog. I plan to use the Vintage Ornaments I & II stencils to decorate gift bags and wrapping paper for the holidays. Very chic in Chocolate and Kraft (got this color combo from the catalog)!
STAMPIN' PRETTY TIPS:
The ornament stencil was sponged with Chocolate Chip Classic Ink.
I then layered the star patterned stencil on top and used a sponge dauber to layer Platinum Shimmer Paint. The dauber fits neatly in the cap of the paint for easy use.
To isolate and color the top of the ornament, I used a Sticky Note as my mask.
Occasions Mini Sneak Peek: Check out the texture created using the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Folder and the Big Shot. Amazing on the Brushed Silver card stock.
A little faux stitching gives a jazzy accent.

This sweet and "foxy" card is destined for my grand niece but would be a delightful birthday or "love" card for any age. I used Stampin' Up!'s Fox & Friends clear mount stamps (available Jan. 5 in the Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini Catalog). The space saving dvd-sized container that the clear mount stamps arrive in is shown below with the additional images. Cutie, yes?
The "love you much" sentiment is from Well Scripted (Occasions Mini), one of the prettiest combination of stamp fonts around--versatile and also clear mount. Both the stamp sets used today will also be available in traditional wood mount. See the Well Scripted image collection below.
STAMPIN' PRETTY TIPS:
The Corner Rounder Punch gives the right touch of interest in the bottom right of the card and focal panel. The heart gets is shape from the new Small Heart Punch (Occasions Mini).
Sending Love Specialty Designer Series Paper (at the top and bottom of the card) has a mix of colors and patterns that will be part of your Valentine's Day wish list but very workable year long. Filled with sparkle and texture, Sending Love Specialty Paper will be featured in the Occasions Mini, too.
5/8" Satin Ribbon in Real Red lends a touch of elegance. Other satin ribbon options in the Occasions Mini will be Basic Black, Chocolate Chip, Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink, Bashful Blue, Very Vanilla, Old Olive and Basic Gray.

I love the Old Olive Polka Dot paper on the far left. There's even a wee piece popped up on the middle present. The Occasions Mini offers both these patterns in the Sweet Pea Paper Stack, 48 sheets of double sided Designer Series paper in a variety of colors and fresh designs.

Delicious ribbon is one of my passions. The Occasion Mini promises nine Stampin' Up! coordinated colors in satin. I used Old Olive on this card.

Cool Idea! The new clear mount storage containers (DVD sized) offer all the images on the front and tiny versions on the "binding." Great for easy organization and location of sets. See sample at the end of this post.
The fastest envie flap in the west . . . . Just adhere a strip of designer series paper to an envelope flap and cut off the edges with a paper trimmer. You'll need additional adhesive when it's time to seal but this is a zippy way to add polish to your handmade cards!
The hardest thing for me when it comes to sneak peeks from the Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration and Occasions MiniCatalogs(customer sales period begins Jan. 5) is deciding where to start. Perhaps, letting you know that satin ribbon is back in nine Stampin' Up! colors, including Pretty in Pink and Chocolate Chip? Or maybe you'll be intrigued by the fact that not only are there gorgeous, new punches but they are a new stackable design? Designer Paper mavens will love the delicious, fresh patterns, including the Sweet Pea 48-sheet paper pack (double sided, 12 x 12).
I guess the cadillac of all this excitement would be the new stamps, available for the first time in clear mount and traditional wood mount options. I used two brand new clear mounts stamp sets for today's card: Happy Moments (Sale-A-Bration) and Well Scripted (Occasions Mini).
STAMPIN' UP! TIPS:
For clarification, the clear mount stamps are red rubber not clear acrylic. They are the same quality that Stampin' Up! is known for and the ultimate in coverage. See photo above.
The blocks (nine different sizes available as a discounted bundle or individually) are clear. Compared to other clear blocks I have tried, these are exceptional. They are thick with comfortable, rounded edges.
The stamps are die cut closer than those used with wood mount stamps. There are vinyl cling images included that allow you to see the image of the stamp thru the clear block.
Now, imagine the delight in stamping with this incredible visibility. How about positioning more than one stamp on a block at a time (check out tomorrow's post for an example)? Better yet, peel them off the block and everything fits neatly in a DVD storage case. Heaven!

STAMPIN' PRETTY TIPS:
The Modern Label Punch is sized slightly smaller than the Movers and Shapers coordinating Die Cut. This allows it to fit neatly inside and peek through.
Speaking of the Curly Label Punch, it deserves credit for the Real Red
Textured Border. That's merely three stacked side by side and cropped
on the sides of the card. Start with the center :)

I love the word "snippet." No surprises then that I love the Bashful Blue "snippet" of Taffeta Ribbon in the top left of the card.

The triple snowflake stamp from Christmas Punch Hostess Level 2 was dipped in Bashful Blue Ink and stamped on Whisper White for the base.

STAMPIN' PRETTY TIPS:
A Circle Scissor Plus and Glass Mat are the stars of the show today. I was able to create the exact sized circles and mats I wanted. Click for my tips on using the Circle Scissor Plus.
Stampin' Up! Markers were used directly to the rubber for the sentiment (the paintbrush end). Alternating colors allows you to create a multi-color single stamp (Enjoy Everything stamp set).
Substituting the Large Star and Star Punch for the bow gives the sketch a "manly" edge.
A trio of Silver Brads top and bottom offer a crisp accent.
I again applied Stampin' Up! Markers directly to the rubber of the hat stamp (Party Hearty stamp set) for a jazzed up envelope flap.

I absolutely adore texture. Stampin' Up!'s Textured Impressions Folders produce defined and crisp texture when zipped through the Big Shot with card stock. The Manhattan Flower Die (used above) is unique and beautiful. I have seen so many gorgeous applications with it. A Crop-A-Dile quickly and quietly set the Metallic Eyelet. Stampin' Up! Metallic Eyelets come in an assortment of Gold, Silver, Copper and Antique Brass. I choose Antique Brass because it has a greenish cast--fabulous with the Old Olive.

Punches serve so many purposes. I used the 1 1/4" Square Punch to create a background with patterns from Christmas Cocoa Specialty Designer Series Paper. Try circles, ovals or hearts for a fun alternative.
Gold Brads light up the corners of the main image and add a pop of bling to the center of the snowflake.
Stampin' Dimensionals give the snowflake just the "lift" it needs to accent the card.

Yowse, I have so much to share today. First of all, today kicks off the Sale-A-Bration and Occasions Mini Catalog pre-order period for Stampin' Up! demonstrators. Happy Dance!! Next, I put together a Movers & Shapers Video Tutorial for you so you can see first hand how easy it is to cut, score and die cut a card with one run thru the Big Shot. I used this technique for yesterday's card using the Curly Label Movable Magnetic Piece. Today's card uses the Heart Movable Magnetic Piece.

Many of the die cuts are designed to coordinate with Stampin' Up!
Punches (for example, Curly Label Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Modern
Label Punch). Each die cut opening is sized slightly larger to
accommodate the matching punch shape.
I removed the rhinestones from a couple medium Circle Rhinestone Brads for my projects today. It's easy to do . . . just peel back the two tiny tabs at the back of the rhinestone and it will come free.
The loose medium rhinestones fit perfectly in the center of the designer buttons I used. A Mini Glue Dot holds them snugly in place.
I "threaded" a sliver of Rich Razzleberry card stock thru the buttons. It's a perfect "thread" match and offers a finished look.
The small card is 3" x 3" which fits neatly into Stampin' Up!'s Mini Square Envelopes (3 1/8" x 3 1/8").

Today's sketch (MOJO115) could be a simple model for all your holiday cards. The tree and background patterns from the Holiday Lounge Designer Series complement each other
perfectly. Stampin' Up!'s Designer Series Paper
is the "bomb" for winning combinations and quick cards.
This 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" square card tucks neatly inside one of Stampin' Up!'s Whisper White Medium Square Envelopes (107289).
The Circle Scissor Plus allowed me to layer the exact size circles I needed (3.5" in diameter on the trees and 3 7/8" for the Whisper White). Use the Glass Mat (112531) and my tips for crisp results.
Both circles nest in the scallop circle created with the Big Shot Die-Cut Machine and Scallop Circle Bigz Die.
My Playground Designer Button is technically Tempting Turquoise but I thought it blended like a champ with Taken with Teal. Give yourself bonus points when you can ignore the need to be "matchy, matchy!'
